Annika is a once-in-a-lifetime bitch, the kind every Collie fancier would wish to someday have. Her breeding is one that we had longed hoped would take place, a beautiful cross between the old Countryview & Tartanside families. It is a blend that has produced some of the finest Collies in breed history. Bred by esteemed breeder/judge Carl Williford of Twin City Collies, and conceived here at Wyndlair, Annika has more than fulfilled our loftiest dreams. At 10 months of age, she finished her championship with her third – 5 point specialty major going Winners Bitch & Best of Winners at the 2005 Collie Club of America National Specialty. She attend three more CCA Nationals in her lifetime, contending for top honors each and every time.

Annika exhibited so many of the virtues we strive for, including length & lightness of head, a beautiful outline with long body lines, good angulation & breathtaking presence. Many highly-respected lifetime Collie fanciers considered her one of the finest Collies in breed history. Not only beautiful, Annika infused an energy into our family, loving every moment of life. She also proved herself as a producer, dam of the exquisite & prepotent sire, Wyndlair Avalanche, ROM (sired by Ch. Southland’s Beyond The Glory), and the impressive Specialty-winning Intl. Ch. Wyndlair Momentum (sired by Ch. Tapestry Tartanside Image). When considering the breed type of the Wyndlair family, you can look directly to Annika as the first.
