The King of Arindel

“Max” was purchased by friend Alan Cohen, who had dreamed his entire life of having a world-class Collie as his constant companion and soul mate. Registered as Wyndlair Arindel Zaikov, he was named in honor of Alan’s 2013 Kentucky Derby hopeful colt, Zaikov (Distorted Humor ex Wait A While).

Coming from the quality-packed litter that produced GCh. Wyndlair Classique Incandescent, Ch. Wyndlair Cherokee Exclamation, Ch. Wyndlair Pennylane Sweet Acquisition & Ch. Wyndlair Pennylane Sweet Acquisition, Max hit the show ring in 2014 with Dona & Taylor Williams. He finished quickly with 4 majors, including specialty majors under Susan Abraham and Bob Kelly, and a specialty major reserve under Jackie Corwin.

Following his quick show career, Max returned to Alan’s side, overseeing daily operations of Arindel Farms, a world-class Thoroughbred racing in Ocala, Florida. We thank Alan for giving Max the life of royalty as the King of Arindel.
