Annika is a once-in-a-lifetime bitch, the kind every Collie fancier would wish to someday have. Her breeding is one that we had longed hoped would take place, a beautiful cross between the old Countryview & Tartanside families. It is a blend that has produced some of the finest Collies in the history of the breed. Bred by esteemed breeder/judge Carl Williford of Twin City Collies, and conceived here at Wyndlair, Annika has more than fulfilled our loftiest dreams. At 10 months of age, she finished her championship with her third - 5 point specialty major going Winners Bitch & Best of Winners at the 2005 Collie Club of America National Specialty. Not only beautiful, Annika puts the ‘smile’ in our kennel, loving every moment of life.

Annika exhibits so many of the virtues we strive for, including length & lightness of head, a beautiful outline with long body lines, good angulation & breathtaking presence. She has also proven herself as a producer, dam of the exquisite & prepotent sire, Wyndlair Avalanche (sired by Ch. Southland’s Beyond The Glory), and the impressive Specialty-winning Am./Can. Ch. Wyndlair Momentum (sired by Ch. Tapestry Tartanside Image).

Annika will be bred to the thrilling young Nr. Ch. Wyndlair Point Given, winner of the 2010 Kem Memorial Sweepstakes this winter. Blue Merle and Tri-Color Puppies expected spring 2011.
